It features a built-in 125-watt heater which is thermostatically controlled to operate only when necessary. The bottom cover keeps straw and other debris away from the heating element for safety. It is intended for outdoor use in a dry and covered area. Comes with a 2-year manufacture warranty and is thermostatically controlled to operate only when temperature falls below 35°F!
