Feeding Instructions:
A horse consumes 2% of their body weight in dry forage per day. Which equates out to 20 lbs. of dry forage per day for 1,000 lb. horse. We recommend you weigh the amount of forage fed to each horse to ensure you are feeding the correct amount.
For horses that have dental problems we recommend soaking the cube in water for 30 minutes before feeding. Also you can ask Alaska Farm Supply’s manager Nick Thatcher about Eckenberg Farms Sliced Cubes. Sliced cubes are manufactured for horses with dental problems, or horses that eat aggressively.
